, was one of four reported in Italy since Monday. A lump of ice "the size
of a pumpkin" landed in central Milan yesterday, another hit a car near
Bologna and a block weighing 11lb landed on a golf course near Rome. It is not
certain whether the icy lumps are from comets or passing aircraft, or are just
