Nigerian toilet bogged down with religious pilgrims

A LAVATORY on a Lagos air force base drew hundreds of pilgrims over the Easter long weekend after a woman said she saw an apparition of the Virgin Mary there, newspapers reported yesterday.

Christiana Ejembi, a warrant officer's wife, said she saw the vision in her toilet window early on Thursday morning, the independent This Day reported.
