Pope encourages Catholic young people to pray rosary in
public
March 11, 2003 - VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- Pope John Paul II
encouraged Catholic young people to pray the rosary in public without shame,
saying Mary would help them reach the true happiness offered only by Christ.
"Humanity has a decisive need for the witness of free and courageous young
people who dare to go against the current and proclaim with force and enthusiasm
their own faith in God, lord and savior," he said in a message for World Youth
Day 2003. "Don't be ashamed to recite the rosary alone, while going to school,
to university or to work, along the street and on public transportation," the
pope said. "Get into the habit of reciting it among yourselves, in your groups,
movements and associations; don't hesitate to suggest its recitation at home to
your parents and brothers and sisters, because it revives and strengthens the
bonds between family members," he said. The annual message to youth, which came
during a year of the rosary proclaimed by the pope, was released March 11 in
Italian only at the Vatican. World Youth Day 2003 will be celebrated in most
dioceses April 13, Palm Sunday. This year, the U.S. observance of World Youth
Day is Oct. 25-26.
Pope's Letter on Rosary a Best Seller in Africa
ROME, MARCH 30, 2003 (ZENIT.org-Fides).- John Paul II's apostolic letter for
the Year of the Rosary is a best seller for Pauline African publishers.
Some 15,000 copies of "Rosarium
Virginis Mariae" in English and 20,000 in Swahili have been sold.
Also popular is the booklet explaining the new luminous mysteries of the
rosary; some 30,000 copies have been distributed. Local Catholic bishops
and communities thanked the Pauline Publishers for the speed with which the
texts were produced. The quick diffusion of the texts is notable
considering that of the 20 countries in the world with the highest illiteracy
rate, 14 are in Africa.
Focolare Group Promoting Rosary for Peace
ROME, MARCH 30, 2003 (Zenit.org).- The
Focolare movement's Youth for a United World kicked off a 24-hour-a day campaign
among young people to pray the rosary for peace. The "planetary rosary
for peace" carries on, in part, an appeal made by L'Osservatore Romano the day
after the Iraqi war started. That appeal also called for round-the-clock
recitation of the rosary for peace. The Vatican semiofficial newspaper
said the moment had arrived "to intensify supplication to the Queen of Peace so
that she would intercede before her Son, the Prince of Peace." The
proposal was made on the day that Iraqi Catholics and other Christians
consecrated their country to Mary, the Queen of Peace, in St. Joseph's Cathedral
in Baghdad. Youth for a United World, active in 180 countries, brings
together young people of various races, cultures and religions.
Digital Rosary?
These are digital rosaries which say the "Our Father" and "Hail Mary"
for you. They've gone on sale today in Vatican City. They look more
like egg-timers or Tamagotchis to me, and surely defeat the point, what do you think?

If the rosary is so important to the Catholic faith, why is it the Vatican is now offering an electronic device to say it for them? The Roman church is the ultimate in "convenience." Now they are teaching their flock prayer is a waste of time. For the sake of convenience they can now set up a recording of a prayer, turn it on, walk away and continue life thinking they are praying. Pray for them. They need our "real" prayers to be heard for them.
In Matthew 6:7 we read, "...when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."
First and foremost we see that the Scriptures declare we must not repeat prayers. Doing so is directly described in Scripture as an attribute of the heathen. In these articles the Pope is going directly against Scripture by suggesting public praying of the rosary, as well as vain prayer. In Matthew 6:6, we read that, "...when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."
Besides the obvious fact that Mary does not hear prayer, going against the will of God most assuredly is a method by which we can create "vain" prayer. If it's against His will, it is most assuredly described as being vain. In one fell swoop the Pope is proclaiming that both stipulations put forth in Matthew chapter 6 should be ignored. If Catholics could only see how blunt that reality is, for those calling themselves Christians in the Catholic church, how then can they stand their without realizing they are mocking the Lord they love? The Word of God is plain, it says to not pray in this manner, yet the Pope once again shouts across the Globe, "obey me rather than God." This is also why Roman Catholics are taught to ignore or at the very least place the Bible as secondary to their priest's word. Rome knows if they read and trust their Bibles they will find the love of and for God will move their hearts to seek after God and leave the Roman Catholic church.
So, how did all this come about? Where did the rosary "supposedly" find it's place in Roman Catholicism? Notice what Saint St. Louis De Montfort said not too long ago...
It was in the year 1214 that the Holy Mother Church received the Rosary in it's present form and according to the method we use today. It was given to St. Dominic who had received it form the Blessed Virgin as a powerful means of converting Albigensians and other sinners. St. Dominic, seeing that the gravity of people's sins was hindering the conversion of the Albigensians, withdrew into a forest near Toulouse where he prayed unceasingly for three days...and finally he fell into a coma. At this point Our Lady appeared to him, accompanied by three angels, and she said:
Saint Dominic arose comforted and burning with zeal for the conversion of the people...he made straight for the Cathedral. At once unseen angels rang the bells to gather the people together and St. Dominic began to preach. At the very beginning of his sermon an appalling storm broke out, the earth shook, the sun was darkened, and there was so much thunder and lightning that all were very much afraid. Even greater was there fear when looking at a picture of Our Lady exposed in a prominent place they saw Her raise Her arms to heaven three times to call down God's vengeance upon them if they failed to be converted. To amend their lives. And seek the protection of the Holy Mother of God. At last, at the prayer of St. Dominic the storm came to an end. Inspired by the Holy Ghost, instructed by the Blessed Virgin as well as his own experience, St. Dominic preached the Holy Rosary for the rest of his life. As long as priests followed St. Dominic's example and preached devotion to the Holy Rosary, piety and fervor thrived throughout the Christian world and in those religious orders which were devoted to the Rosary. But since people have neglected this gift from heaven, all kinds of sin and disorder have spread far and near. -"The Secret Of The Rosary" by St. Louis De Montfort |
The rosary, and it's origin is indeed outside the written will of God. In fact it demands the opposite of His Word, it denies His will, it blasphemes His Holy Spirit, and it lies to His children. This ritual needs to be exposed as evil to the precious Roman Catholic people simply because it is evil. But before you can really understand just how evil this rosary is, you need to know if it breaks the basics of God's will. You need to know how the Catholic is taught to use the rosary. Is it really a repetitive prayer on top of all the other apparent evils, and if so, is it also vain prayer in more than one way? So... how does one pray the rosary of Rome?
#1 Looking at the cross, Catholics hold it while they make the sign of the cross and pray the Apostles' Creed which is actually a summary of all the things Catholics are taught to believe. I won't comment on the open idolatry associated with this strange ritual, because I know most Catholics have been taught from day one to ignore that fact and do it anyway. For any Catholic reading this that needs to see the evidence of this fact, I implore you to please look in your own Catechism books and you will find Commandment #2 is missing. There's a reason for that. Go to Exodus chapter 20 and read the second commandment and you will understand why it's removed the very moment you step in your church and see all those kneelers in front of those statues. Getting back... The "sign of the cross" is actually the sign of Baal. Try it and see for yourself. Place your hand on your forehead... now place it on your chest, now on your left shoulder, and finally your right shoulder. That is not like the cross Christ was crucified on is it? It is depicting a cross of BAAL instead. In the Catholic Encyclopedia it states the following for the "Sign of the Cross..." |
The obvious problem with the Roman Catholic "sign of the cross" has to do with the reality as to who's cross it really is. Once you see it illustrated you will understand easily.
If the Roman Catholic "sign of the cross" were an actual Christian cross, you would have to make it thusly... Place your hand on your forehead... now place it on your groin, now on your left shoulder, and finally your right shoulder. That is NOT what the Roman Catholic church demands. They are actually having their congregation make the sign of BAAL on their bodies and NOT a cross that depicts the cross Christ was crucified on. Notice the shocking revelation in the following pic that most are totally unaware of.
Here you can actually see that the main area of the cross the Roman Church would have their followers use resembles that of Baal's cross. The cross of Baal is more like the "plus sign" on your keyboard than a cross Rome used to kill people with. The arms of the cross of Baal equal in length to the vertical staff of the cross. However, in the Roman Catholic "sign of the cross" an interesting revelation comes to light. Not only do the arms equal in length to the staff, but you can also see that the horizontal portion of the cross is inverted somewhat, thus making the Roman Catholic sign of the cross more likely the inverted cross of the church of Satan. You can see this verified as their true reason for the "sign of the cross" in the following pic of Pope John Paul at a mass in Jerusalem back in the year 2000... (click here for a video exposing the inverted 'sign of the cross' that Catholics use)
In essence, every Catholic
that makes this "sign of the cross" is showing their allegiance to
Satan and Baal at the same time. Fact is, Baal is just another name for Satan. Without going into the other fourteen points for the Rosary, one can
see that right off the bat, the Rosary is an actual ritual designed by the enemy
of our precious Saviour himself.
As
I was doing research for this page a subscriber to my Newsletter sent me the
following information regarding the "sign of the cross."
Have just received and read your article concerning the meaning of the RCC crossing themselves. I would like to share with you something I heard recently - I do not know how much truth there is to it - and, you have may have already heard this before.
Have a blessed day
JJ
I have yet to be able to verify this as fact, but I felt it is important enough to mention. Looking to the history of Babylon and how they "handed down" numerous rituals through the years, it makes perfect sense that the Roman Catholic church would adopt this ritual and give it a "Christian meaning" as they have done so with all the other doctrines of Babylon. In fact they admit to such in writing.
Cardinal Newman admits in his book that; the "The use of temples, and these dedicated to particular saints, and ornamented on occasions with branches of trees; incense, lamps, and candles; votive offerings on recovery from illness; holy water; asylums; holydays and seasons, use of calendars, processions, blessings on the fields; sacerdotal vestments, the tonsure, the ring in marriage, turning to the East, images at a later date, perhaps the ecclesiastical chant, and the Kyrie Eleison [are all of pagan origin, and sanctified by their adoption into the Church. {374}" -An Essay on The Development of the Christian Doctrine John Henry "Cardinal Newman" p.359 The penetration of the religion of Babylon became so general and well known that Rome was called the "New Babylon." -Faith of our fathers 1917 ed. Cardinal Gibbons, p. 106 |
Satan doesn't care how you do his will, as long as you do it.
#2 On this first bead of the rosary (see above pic of rosary) the Catholic is taught to pray an 'Our Father.' The is a prayer the Roman Catholic church assumes Jesus taught as an actual prayer. Problem here is, it is NOT a prayer at all. In Luke 11 we see the disciples asking Jesus to teach them to pray. The "Our Father" as Rome calls it, is actually an OUTLINE of prayer. If the "our Father' was an actual prayer, then explain John chapter 17. That entire chapter is an actual prayer of Jesus Christ Himself. Is He saying the "our Father" here? No He is not. Is He is however using the OUTLINE He set forth in the "our Father" as Rome calls it.
#3 On each of the next three beads, Catholics are taught to pray a prayer to Mary, called 'the Hail Mary.' Here is where the repetitive prayers start to become apparent. Fact is, all of the Rosary is repetitive prayer. It's just bluntly proven here, and even more so in a moment.
#4 On this bead, Catholics are taught to announce the first mystery that this Rosary is about to be dedicated to. They are taught to reflect on what happened to Jesus at the time depicted in the particular mystery they are meditating on. On this bead the "our Father" is repeated the very first time.
#5 Here the Catholics are told to pray one 'Hail Mary' on each of the next 10 beads. Then they are told to recite the prayer called 'the Glory Be' for the first time. This is where it should become graphically apparent to the Catholic that he Rosary is outside the will of God s it is written in the Bible. It is openly repetitive. It goes directly against the will of Almighty God in that it is repetitive in nature from beginning to end, day after day after day. Plus, it is truly in vain they pray this prayer. It is now Biblically understood that Mary is not in Heaven at this time. She is in the grave awaiting the arrival of her Saviour Jesus Christ as are the rest of the faithful patriarchs, prophets and common people of history.
#15 The Catholic is taught to then repeat all of the above for the next two dedications if in fact he or she is going to do an entire (three decate) rosary. And as of just a few weeks back, Pope John Paul II added yet another "mystery" to the rosary bringing the total to four mysteries that must now be repeated by all Catholics that seek to do an entire rosary. When I was a Catholic it took me 45 minutes to recite all three sets of mysteries. (#1,Joyful #2, Sorrowful #3, Glorious) Since the Pope has added the mystery of "Light", I am sure it would take at least an hour to repeat all four now.
For the Roman Catholic church to proclaim to it's followers you MUST pray the Rosary is openly stating you MUST do exactly the opposite of what the Lord God Almighty has stated in His Word. In fact, the rosary is an open and graphic worship of Mary plain and simple. There are 58 beads in each Rosary as well as a dual faced medal of Mary and a crucifix of Christ upon it. Plus, at the end of each series of ten beads is a prayer called "the Glory be" that is to be repeated holding the chain between the beads. That's 65 prayers altogether. Out of those 65 prayers, 54 of them are dedicated to the dead body of Mary in the grave. That is spiritualism and necromancy. The Roman Catholic is actually taught to communicate with the dead in all prayers to saints and especially to Mary while praying the rosary. Even the Roman Catholic church will admit there is not a single line of Scripture that proclaims Mary is in Heaven right now. That is why the Vatican decision for the doctrine was to declare they "assumed" her into Heaven three to fifteen years after Christ ascended.
The rosary is a grand example of repetitive prayer. 65 prayers per dedication, and now that the Pope has added a "mystery" to the rosary thereby making it contain four different sets of dedications. That comes to a total of 260 prayers that must be repeated by the Catholic each and every day. And out of those 260 prayers, 216 of them are completely dedicated to the dead body of Mary in the grave.
The rosary is not only a repetitive as well as vain prayer, (because any prayer to anyone BUT God is considered vain) it is also the means by which the Pope in Rome can get the masses worshipping Mary, who in essence is actually the biblically mentioned Pagan goddess "Queen of Heaven." (See more about this "Queen" here) As Isaiah so perfectly warned us, Satan want's to be worshipped as a God no matter what. Even if it means you call him "Mary." That is no problem for him. His main concern is to get the people to break the commandments of God, and in so doing, afford him complete permission to be in their lives. Little known fact is, the Vatican has put out documentation more than a few times that openly declares Mary worthy of worship.
Pope dedicates his
general audience to "the Virgin Mary"
May 7, 1997 (David W. Cloud,
Fundamental
Baptist News Service,
1701 Harns Rd., Oak Harbor, WA 98277) - On May 7 Pope John Paul II dedicated his
general audience to "the Virgin Mary" and urged all Christians to accept
Mary as
their mother. He noted the words spoken by Jesus on the cross to Mary and to
John-- "Woman, behold thy son!" and "Behold thy mother!"
(John 19:26,27), and he claimed that in this statement "it is possible to understand the authentic
meaning of marian worship in the ecclesial community ... which furthermore is
based on the will of Christ" (Vatican Information Service, May 7,
1997).
John Paul II underlined that "the history of Christian piety teaches that Mary is the path that leads to christ, and that filial devotion to her does not at all diminish intimacy with Jesus, but rather, it increases it and leads it to very high levels of perfection." He concluded by asking all Christians "to make room (for Mary) in their daily lives, acknowledging her providential role in the path of salvation" (Ibid.).
Pope John Paull II has 'dedicated himself and his Pontificate to Our Lady.' He bears the letter "M" for Mary in his coat of arms. And his personal motto, which is embroidered on the side of his robes in Latin is the following: "TOTUS TUUS SUM MARIA", which in English translates to: "MARY, I'M ALL YOURS." --LATIMES.com Sept 1, 2002 By REED JOHNSON, Times Staff Writer
"O Mother of love and mercy who, when thy sweetest Son was consummating the Redemption of the human race on in the altar of the cross, didst stand next to him suffering with him as a Coredemptrix." -Plus XI, 1935, in a prayer to close a jubilee
"Mary, for having been associated with the King of Martyrs in the ineffable work of human Redemption as Mother and cooperatrix, she remains forever associated with him, with an almost unlimited power, in the distribution of graces which flow from the Redemption." -Plus XII, in a radio broadcast in 1946
"The Church ... been accustomed to have recourse to that most ready intercessor, her Mother Mary ... For as St. Irenaeus says, she 'has become the cause of salvation for the whole human race" -Paul VI, Christi Matri.
"For God has committed to Mary the treasury of all good things, in order that everyone may know that through her are obtained every hope, every grace, and all salvation. For this is his will, that we obtain everything through Mary." - Pius IX, Ubi Primum, 1849
"In every miracle we must recognize the mediation of Mary, through whom, according to God's will, every grace and blessing comes to us." -Benedict XV, In a decree on Joan of Are
"In fact, by being assumed into heaven she has not laid aside the office of salvation but by the manifold intercession she continues to obtain for us the grace of eternal salvation." -John Paul II, Dives in Misericordia, 1980, quoting Lumen Gentium
Jesus said rather plainly in John 14:6, "...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Fact is folks, the rosary is a Babylonian ritual found in the Pagan church as well as many other non-Christian organizations. For example, you can find the exact same rosary beads in many cultures of the world. Witches use them in their incantations and spells, as do those that practice Voodoo. Satanists use them as well as the Buddhists. That is why many years ago generations of Protestant children grew up thinking all Catholics were Pagans because they recited the rosary. Now? It's beginning to be "tolerated" more so in the mainstream Protestant churches just as many of the final prophecies predicted.
Like the "Queen of Heaven" that draws many non-Christian churches together in these last days, one can see the rosary is also used by Satan to fuel the ecumenical charge that was prophesied to bring all churches under one roof at Armageddon. Pray for the Catholics. Pray that they learn they are in grave danger being in a church that ignores Gods Word and uplifts man's word. Pray they hear the call of their Saviour Jesus Christ and get out of that churchbefore the plagues of Revelation fall upon them.
Interesting tidbit...
"KNOCK ON
WOOD"
Often we
use the phrase, "Knock on wood" - and proceed to do just that: knock on a table
or a door or whatever wood is handy. Most do not know that the origin of the
phrase and practice comes from the rosary. Rosaries in the old days were made of
oak wood and were fingered in time of distress or trouble. Thus, holding on to
or rubbing the wooden rosary or its wooden crucifix when danger was near, became
a common way for Christians to deal with hardships and difficulties. The
practice slipped into common use as "Knock on wood." -From
